What stays on your device, and what doesn't.
Most of what PawOS learns about you — your projects, your companion's memory, your workspace context — stays local on your device by default. It only leaves your machine when you explicitly share it into a Team or Enterprise Organization Workspace.
Paw's reasoning runs in the cloud, because frontier-scale models need more than most computers can offer — that's a real tradeoff, and we say so. Everything around it is ours to protect: memory, credentials, and file access stay local-first, and organization data is isolated so one workspace can never see another's.
We'd rather state these tradeoffs plainly than claim an unqualified "100% private" that doesn't survive scrutiny. See our Privacy Policy and Security documentation for the full detail.
