What platforms does PawOS support?+

Do I need to install anything else first?+
No. PawOS ships as a self-contained Electron application; no separate runtime installation is required.
Billing
Is there a free plan?+
Yes — Paw Go is free, with local runtime features and real AI for planning & analysis (Paw Flash); execution requires Paw Pro. See Pricing for the full tier ladder.
How is Autonomous Ticket Resolution billed?+
As a completed Autonomous Engineering Task, billed only once a real pull request is opened and the ticket is updated — never for a failed, cancelled, or denied run.
Can I cancel anytime?+
Yes, subscriptions are self-serve — upgrade, downgrade, or cancel from Settings → Billing without a sales call.
Providers
Which AI models power PawOS?+
You interact with named Paw models (Flash, Swift, Core, Creative, Vision, Voice); the underlying provider is routed internally and matched to your tier.
Which hosting providers can I deploy to?+
20+, including Vercel, Netlify, Railway, Render, Fly.io, GitHub Pages, Hostinger, Google Cloud Run, AWS, Azure, Kubernetes, DigitalOcean, Linode, Vultr, Hetzner, and Oracle Cloud.
Enterprise
What's the difference between Team and Enterprise?+
Team is $20/seat/mo for 2–150 seats with shared workspaces and admin controls. Enterprise is $100/seat/mo starting at 20 seats, adding advanced security, custom limits, and dedicated support.
Can anyone join our organization workspace?+
No — organization membership is restricted to a verified, shared email domain, by design.
Do you support SSO?+
SSO enablement is in progress — see the Security page for current, honest status rather than a roadmap promise.
Companions
Can I upload my own 3D model?+
Yes — GLB, GLTF, VRM, and FBX are supported directly; OBJ files are automatically rigged.
Can I generate an avatar from a photo?+
Not yet — AI-generated avatar creation isn't available. Upload-your-own-model is the current path to a fully custom look.
Privacy
Does my data leave my device?+
Most data (companion memory, conversation history, workspace memory) stays local unless you explicitly share it into an Organization Workspace. See the Privacy Policy for full detail.
Does PawOS record my meetings without asking?+
No — recording only ever starts after explicit, informed consent.
Security
How are organization credentials stored?+
In an encrypted credential vault, never in plain text, accessed only through gated actions.
Can risky actions run without my approval?+
No — destructive actions always require your explicit confirmation, and organizations can additionally require approval before production-impacting actions run at all.
Deployments
Do I need to give PawOS my cloud credentials?+
No — connectors use your machine's own already-authenticated CLI/API sessions for each provider. PawOS never manages your cloud credentials on your behalf.
What happens if a deploy breaks production?+
Deploys can run an automatic post-deploy health check with rollback to the last good deployment.
